Dudley Food Network

On the 8th October, we held our first Dudley Food Network event – an opportunity to bring together food charities, community organisations and partners across the borough to work towards a shared vision:

? Ensuring people in Dudley have access to healthy, budget-friendly, and culturally appropriate food
? Sharing ideas, resources, and support
? Reducing duplication and food waste
? Strengthening community connections and building skills for self-reliance

Taking the first step in mapping food support services in Dudley, the event brought together over 50 passionate individuals from food charities, community organisations, and partner groups across the borough who took the opportunity to discuss food poverty and how we can support each to work towards a shared vision.

From grassroots volunteers to strategic partners, the energy in the room was one of hope and determination. We’re excited to build on this momentum and continue strengthening the network that supports so many in our community.
